I am Deputy Director of the Arctic Centre at Umeå University, where I work with strategic development, communication and collaboration. A central part of my role is to strengthen the University's position in Arctic research, develop national and international partnerships, and create opportunities for new research initiatives.
My background is in rhetoric, with a PhD focusing on visual communication and the democratic dimensions of communication. Since then, I have worked with strategic communication, science communication and project management in both regional and international research and development projects.
My approach is grounded in the belief that curiosity, dialogue and understanding create opportunities. By connecting people, knowledge and perspectives, I aim to foster collaboration, identify new research opportunities and strengthen the relevance and impact of research in society.
