My research interests include writing education and discourses of writing in policy and practice. I have a background as a teacher, as a coordinator of literacy networks, and as a teacher educator.
I am a lecturer in language teaching and learning, teacher trainer and researcher. I am part of the steering committee for SMDI, the network for Swedish with a didactic focus. I teach on the teacher training course in Swedish and supervise degree projects.
I am the scientific leader of SKRIVUM, an educational strategic project at Umeå university with training for university teachers with the overall goal of strengthening all students' competence in academic writing and writing for professional life. Developing the teaching of writing is also the focus in different research projects I am involved in.
